The Joint Steering Committee (JSC) for the soft loan of 40 million euros assigned to the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources was held on June 9th, 2013 at the Embassy of Italy in Baghdad.
Following the signing of the minutes of the JSC, the Ministry of Water Resources proceeded to send to the Italian companies involved the “final Awarding notification”. Thanks to this communication and upon verification, by an Iraqi delegation, of the productive capacity of winning companies, the signature of contracts is now possible.
Thanks to the Italian soft loan the Ministry of Water Resources will acquire machinery 100% made in Italy for a value of € 40 million.
