Notice is hereby given to the owners of Italian Identity Cards being lost or stolen abroad in the case of\u00a0such documents are found. In such a circumstances the found documents are normally returned to the consular offices in whose area is the theft or loss.
We therefore invite those people who have recently suffered abroad a theft\/loss and want to check if\u00a0their ID has been found, in\u00a0contacting the Consular Office of this Embassy of Italy in Baghdad, having territorial jurisdiction, for more information.<\/P>
It should be noted that any withdrawal of such documents may be made, at the above Consular Office where the discovery took place, as follows:
\uf0d8 personally at the Consular desk;
\uf0d8 on request, through dispatch, with costs against him. Given the particular situation of the Country shipment may occur through courier.
With reference to the identity cards issued by the consular Network stolen or lost abroad, the consular office of this Embassy will\u00a0communicate the find to the owner, informing that the same\u00a0will be destroyed in the event that they have not been required to return one year from the finding date.
