Rules for foreign students’ access to programmed number university courses. Emendments of the calendar of the obligations, for the academic year 2013/2014.

The new Decree of the Ministry of Education, University ‘and Research on 12 June 2013, n. 449 concerning “Method and contents of the tests for admission to courses of degree program at the national level aa 2013/2014”, has redefined the calendar for carrying out the national tests for admission to the programmed number Faculties, originally planned in July.

In application of the abovesaid Decree – which is available at http://attiministeriali.miur.it/anno-2013/giugno/dm-12062013.aspx – the examinations of access to programmed number Faculties have been postponed to September 10th, 2013. The extention relates to the admission to degree courses in Veterinary Medicine, Master of Science of Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry in Italian Language, as well as undergraduate and graduate Master’s course in architecture.

It is recalled that the for the enrollment to programmed Number Faculties students must also fulfill the compulsory procedure of online registration for admission to the tests to be carried out by those concerned exclusively online on the portal Universitaly, www.universitaly.it.

Online registration will be reactivated from the June 25, 2013 up to July 18th, 2013 at 15:00 (GMT +1). Students who had already completed the on-line registration are required to repeat the registration procedure with the credentials already in their possession, verify and eventuallly modify the information contained in the inscription already carried out (Annex 2, paragraph 3, letter B of the Decree).

It is recommended to store the code with a receipt proving the registration, obtained at the end of the online procedure.

The deadline for the pre-enrollment to all university courses in Italy for the academic year 2013-2014 at the Embassy of Italy in Baghdad is therefore extended to all students, on 5 July 2013, (with reference to all undergraduate courses, both planned access or not, as well as for courses at institutions AFAM).

Evidence of knowledge of the Italian language for foreign students residing abroad will be held September 2, 2013 at the Italian Universities.

The procedures for foreign students who had taken the exam International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT) for admission to undergraduate degree Master’s course in Medicine and Surgery in the English language for a. A. 2013-14 remain the same. Theresults will be noticed on July 29, 2013.
