As part of the ongoing economic dialogue between Italy and Iraq, the Italian Ambassador to Baghdad, Niccolò Fontana, met today with the Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri Ahmed. The meeting provided an opportunity to explore prospects for strengthening bilateral industrial cooperation and to examine opportunities for collaboration and investment in strategic sectors such as the chemical industry, silicates, cement, silica sands, and the pharmaceutical sector. The meeting confirmed the shared willingness to further develop the economic and industrial relations between the two countries.
