                                                                                                 BRUNO ANTONIO PASQUINO
Born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on 12th February 1065, Bruno Antonio Pasquino is serving the Italian Foreign Service since 1990.

From 1991 to 1993 he attended l’Ecole National d’Administration in Paris, France.

In November 1993 he is assigned to the Embassy of Italy in Caracas as Second Secretary.

In October 1997 he is assigned to the Embassy of Italy in Copenhagen as First Secretary, then confirmed there as Commercial Counselor.

He resumed his duty in Rome on August 2001 in the Office of the Inspectorate General as Chief of the Staff.

In August 2003 he is appointed Consul General in Karachi (Pakistan).

From November 2006 he is appointed Charge’ D’Affaires with Letters in Astana (Kazakistan), and accredited in Bishkek (Kirghizistan) as Ambassador. He is confirmed in the same position as Ambassador also in Astana.

From August 2011 he resumed his duty in Rome as Chief of the Office on emergency operations of the Directorate General for Development Cooperation.

In August 2013 he is appointed Diplomatic Advisor to the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. He is confirmed in the same position and with the same responsibilities in February 2014.

From April 2015 he is appointed Commissioner General for EXPO 2015.

He has been also awarded Commander of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy in 2017.

From November 13th, 2017, he is Ambassador of Italy in Iraq.
