Announcement for bursaries offered by the Italian Government for Academic Year 2013-2014 to Iraqi citizens.

Announcement for scholarships offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the AA 2013-2014 to Iraqi citizens who wish to study or carry out research in Italy.


The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides Iraqi citizens who wish to study or carry out research in Italy scholarships for the academic year 2013-2014.

Conditions:
The scholarships are awarded for programs of study and/or research at the following state institutions or legally recognized insitutions: University, Colleges, Polytechnics, Institutes of Higher Education in Art and Music; institutes of restoration, the National School of Cinema; Centers and research laboratories, libraries, archives and museums that have agreements with Italian university or post university.

Requirements:

1) Knowledge of the Italian language
Knowledge of the Italian language is essential to level B2, also certified by authorized university centers (University for Foreigners of Perugia and Siena, Dante Alighieri Society, University of Rome). An equivalent certificate can be accepted.
For College courses taught in English, applicants must submit a Certificate or Certificates in any case of knowledge of the A2 level.

2) Qualifications required:
• To enroll in an Italian university is essential to own the High School Diploma (Baccalauréat)
• For Postgraduate courses, graduation is required.
• For Training Institutes and musical artist: High level for access to academic or higher education institutes (Conservatives, specialized courses).
• For courses in Italian language and culture: Degree in Arts Italian.
The candidates ‘winners’ and reservists, will be asked to translate into Italian and to legalize at the Embassy of Italy all their diplomas and certificates of study; furthermore they have to ask the Italian Embassy in Baghdad for a Declaration of Value

3) Age limits:
may submit an application, applicants who have not passed the 35 years age.
Teachers of Italian can submit applications for scholarship if not older than 45 years of age, provided that they can prove their teaching activities at the Iraqi institutions.

4) Renewals:
assignees of renewals must send an e-mail to the Embassy of the Italian university certificate proving the exams passed. Without this document, the application will be deemed inadmissible.

The demand for Scholarship only occurs online at http://borseonline.esteri.it/BorseOnLine/ Applications shall be accompanied copy of an identity document in Latin characters and a certificate attesting to knowledge of the Italian language.

Deadline: Italian midnight of 31 May 2013.

The Journey of A / R, Research and expenses for accommodation are not included in the fellow.

Type of scholarship: to view and read carefully the attached Announcement

Duration of the scholarship: 3, 6 or 9 months for A. A. 2013/2014. Scholarships required for a single month are not accepted.

Amount of Scholarship: 700 Euros per month.

IMPORTANT! Please be informed that scholarships will be awarded from January 2014. The ‘proposed winners’ and the reserves are required to submit the following documents:
• Certificate of Citizenship
• Medical certificate with consular translation in Italian
• Copy of passport
• Copies of the letters of presentation of two local academic authorities (not optional if required by requirements)
• Letter of acceptance (if required)
• Letter of commitment
• Copy of certificates of qualifications
