Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq Nuri Rowsch Shaways payed an important visit to Italy from 3 and 4 July 2013 and had political talks with the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon Vittorino Alfano and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs Hon Emma Bonino, Minister of Defense, Hon. Mario Mauro, Minister of Economic Development, Hon Flavio Zanon and the Minister for Cultural Heritage and Cultural Affairs, Hon Maximum Bray. The Deputy Prime Minister met also the President of the Senate, Senator Pietro Grasso, and the President of the Chamber, Hon Laura Boldrini.
This is the most important visit of an Iraqi delegation in Italy since 2008.
