Ambassador Maurizio Greganti was received today by Acting Minister of Electricity, Adil Karim, for a very friendly introductory meeting. They fully agreed on the goal of strengthening economic relations between Italy and Iraq starting with the energy sector, where the presence of Italian companies is well-established. The meeting also allowed an exchange on the prospects of energy collaboration with partners in the Middle East as a pillar for stability in the region.
