Meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Justice, Salar Abdulsattar

Strengthening relations between Italy and Iraq in all sectors, starting with judicial cooperation: this was the focus of the meeting that Ambassador Maurizio Greganti had this morning with the Iraqi Minister of Justice, Judge Salar Abdulsattar. The solid friendship that historically links Italy and Iraq is the fundamental prerequisite for intensifying the collaboration between the respective judicial systems. Minister Abdulsattar expressed his sincere appreciation for the support that Italy has always guaranteed to Iraq in the fight against terrorism, in the context of which holding to account those responsible remains a priority for the Iraqi authorities.
