Contributions to private entities for the purposes of maintaining peace and international security and implementing humanitarian initiatives and for human rights protection

To facilitate Italian involvement in peace and humanitarian initiatives at the international level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering grants to initiatives proposed by both Italian and foreign private entities and organizations, in accordance with public procedures and the principles of transparency and equal opportunity.

For the allocation of grants from the resources designated for 2024, the Directorate-General for Global Affairs (DGMO), the Directorate-General for Political and Security Affairs (DGAP), and the Directorate-General for Europe and International Trade Policy (DGUE) have issued public notices, which are available on the MAECI website, on the following link:

Regarding the procedure for submission of applications, entities with a registered office in a non-European country, should submit their applications exclusively to the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission in that country. Furthermore, the aforementioned entities must provide suitable documentation according to laws of their country, which must be legalized by the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission. Self-Declarations will not be accepted instead of the aforementioned documents.

The deadlines for submission are as follows (the date of submission that will be considered valid will be the date stamped by the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission at the time of receipt of the application):
13th September for the notice issued by DGMO
13th September for the notice issued by DGAP
30th September for the notice issued by DGUE
