On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day, dedicated to promoting Italian creativity and excellence, the Italian Embassy in Baghdad inaugurated on April 19 the photographic exhibition Light on Made in Italy, curated by Interni Magazine in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Local and international community, political, institutional and academic exponents as well as civil society members, business representatives, enthusiasts and industry professionals largely attended the gathering.
The exhibition was set up with the support and participation of Hamandi Interiors, which offered its showroom in the heart of the Iraqi capital to promote the elegance and quality of Made in Italy. The exhibition space – which already hosts Italian-designed furniture and fittings (B&B Italia, Maxalto, Flos, Foscarini and Cesar Kitchen) – contributes to emphasize the significance of each picture of artefacts and products from some of the most representative brands on the Italian interior design scene, enhancing every detail and giving them a timeless elegance.
The exhibition will run free to the public for three weeks, until May 10, 2025, with the intention of promoting the culture of Made in Italy not only as a label and synonym for quality but also as a result of the excellent work of internationally appreciated artisans and designers. “The success of Made in Italy,” said the Ambassador, “is a story that we want to continue to write together, especially here in Iraq. Indeed, this event represents an opportunity to strengthen bilateral trade relations and consolidate the presence of our field companies within a market that is increasingly receptive and eager to embrace a lifestyle that combines aesthetics, functionality, sustainability and good taste “Italian-style.”
